According to a pharmaceutical information service, the average 65 year old is on 19 different medications. Our experimental population of 300, drawn randomly from a group of 1000 20-45 year Shaklee supplement users with an average age of 63, were on 0.6 medications. Not even a whole medication!! Heart attacks were around 2%, general population 11%. One of the most amazing stats was that in the group of 300, there were 0, as in zero abnormalities in c reactive proteins, a key measure of inflammation, and triglycerides. The chief scientist AT Shaklee told us that Dr. Gladys Block, one of the most eminent nutritional epidemiologists in the world from UC Berkeley, was literally bouncing up and down in her seat with excitement as she explained the results.
